Introduction of galvanized square tube:
There are two types of galvanized square tubes: hot-dip galvanized square tubes and electro-galvanized square tubes. There are wet method, dry method, lead-zinc method, redox method and so on for hot-dip galvanized square tube. The main difference between different hot-dip galvanizing methods is the method used to activate the surface of the pipe body to improve the quality of galvanizing after the steel pipe is pickled and cleaned.
The current production mainly adopts dry method and redox method. The surface of the electro-galvanized zinc layer is very smooth and dense, and the structure is uniform: it has good mechanical properties and corrosion resistance: zinc consumption is 60% to 75% lower than that of hot-dip galvanizing. Electrogalvanizing is technically complex, but it must be used for single-sided coating, double-sided coating with different thicknesses on the inner and outer surfaces, and thin-walled tube galvanizing.
Therefore, the galvanized square tube is galvanized on the steel, so the application range of the galvanized square tube has been greatly expanded compared with the square tube. It is mainly used in curtain walls, construction, machinery manufacturing, steel construction projects, shipbuilding, solar power generation brackets, steel structure engineering, power engineering, power plant agriculture and chemical machinery, glass curtain walls, automobile chassis, airports, etc.
Features of galvanized channel steel:
(1) It has a thicker dense layer of pure zinc covering the steel surface, which can prevent the steel substrate from contacting any corrosive solution and protect the steel substrate from corrosion. In the general atmosphere, a thin layer of dense zinc oxide layer is formed on the surface of the zinc layer, which is difficult to dissolve in water, so it plays a certain role in protecting the steel matrix. If zinc oxide and other components in the atmosphere form insoluble zinc salts, the anti-corrosion effect is more ideal.
(2) It has an iron-zinc alloy layer and is tightly bonded. Exhibits unique corrosion resistance in marine salt spray atmosphere and industrial atmosphere:
(3) Due to the firm combination, zinc and iron are soluble in each other, and have strong wear resistance:
(4) Due to the good ductility of zinc, its alloy layer is firmly attached to the steel base, so hot-dip parts can be cold punched, rolled, drawn, bent, etc. without damaging the coating;
(5) After hot-dip galvanizing of steel structural parts, it is equivalent to an annealing treatment, which can effectively improve the mechanical properties of the steel matrix, eliminate the stress of steel parts during forming and welding, and facilitate turning processing of steel structural parts.
(6) The surface of the hot-dip galvanized parts is bright and beautiful.
(7) The pure zinc layer is the most plastic galvanized layer in hot-dip galvanizing. Its properties are basically close to pure zinc and have ductility, so it is flexible.
